Me too hun, my Dad lives about 40 minutes away from us. He's seen my kids twice in the last 5 years He just doesn't bother at all, not bothered any more (that's a lie actually, I pretend I'm not).
My Mum is kinda the same, she isn't bothered with us much at all, since she split from my Dad she's having a good time and doesn't feel the need to be a Nanny. It's long and complicated to be fair but really sad They are really missing out cos my kids are amazing, as I know yours are!!
My MIL doesn't think much of me, but she is amazin with the kids, will do anything for them and loves them to bits, so I'm just glad they have her!!
I don't have any family that I am close to, just OH &my kiddies

That cake was from Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom & cost $21 + tax :eek:, the whole meal for the 4 of us including the cake was $200 but so worth it!!!
