Got an email regarding the comp I won then didn't win etc, it does sound a little promising :-

Thanks for your email and my sincerest apologies if you feel that you have been misled or not communicated with properly at all on this matter.

My understanding is that an ambiguous email from one of our competition providers has led to confusion over the level of prize you won with our Nov/Dec issue. We are speaking directly with this contact about this to ensure this does not happen again.

I understand you have spoken to our promotions manager, who explained the situation to you last week. As they said, we do contact major prize winners directly and the winner of this prize was notified and sent their prize immediately.

They have passed me your address, and as a gesture of goodwill I will arrange for a small goody bag to be sent to you from DARE today.

Please do accept our apologies for any confusion you may have felt, please be ensured we are looking into our processes to ensure that this is as clear as possible in the future.
