I know ... it's dreadful .... only reason I do is coz we grew up with it ... Dad was a great lover of the gee gees! He's gone now (Bless) but I guess it's in my blood .... funnily though - only since I had kids that I can't watch all of it anymore ... Thank God for comps! xxx

I think the Chair fence was even worse. I think the trainers must be very careful about what horses can/can't do it, mustn't they? King John's Castle refused to race awwww I don't blame him! I, too, was screaming at every fence!

well wow what a race the Grand National was,I was with my mates in the pub next door watching it and I too nearly felt like crying,I could feel my eyes well up,I didnt cry but I was so nearly going to.

I won £4.25 as I placed a 50p each way bet on State of Play and Big Fella Thanks.My mum won £2.25 as she backed the horse that was 2nd place.She will get 25p tomorrow as she owes me £4 for placing hers and dads bets on Friday at the bookies.I did feel awful for mum though but shes happy.
