My poor little pink car is off the road awaiting repair

On the plus side though, I must have walked about 6 miles yesterday and feel healthier than I have in ages. By some miracle, I am not eating chocolate yet either!

Afternoon all - phew caught up with some comps - inbetween being mad busy at work.

Didn't go to physio today in far too much pain -i may go thursday night if i feel up to it xxxx

Such a tragedy about Kristian.

Nice & sunny here. No parcels but got a letter from home access to say the kids are entitiled to a laptop. Which is a good thing as I think this old clapped out Time computer is on it's way out!

Sweetiepie, I saw 3 magpies on way back from nursery (3 for a girl) and was expecting to come on here & find you've had the baby!

Hi lovely comping peeps

This is a bit of a cheeky post!

As you may or may not know I work as an unpaid volunteer with a brilliant charity in the Black Country called Food Bank. We provide 3 days nutritionally balanced food to families and single people in crisis and the homeless. To give you an idea of our work, our month end figures show that in Feb alone, we fed 150 people with ten meals each of which 65 of these were CHILDREN! This is based on only two sets of figures received from our five distribution centres so this double is set to double!

We exist entirely on donations of food and money from the supporters and members of the public. None of us get paid and I am working anywhere between 10-25 hours per week! Wendy, our "CEO" started the project out of her front room 4 years ago and we now have a warehouse and office complex in Halesowen that we have to fund ourselves. Wendy herself is in financial difficulties but you never hear her moan.

During Feb, the office was burgled in broad daylight and Wendy's personal laptop, her brand new Samsung mobile (4 days old) and the Food Bank PAYG mobile were stolen. We were able to replace our FB mobile with a cheap handset but Wendy has not been able to replace her phone or her lappy. The West Mids Police are providing her with a laptop that they have seized and cleaned up but she cannot afford to replace her phone which was uninsured.

I am entering every comp on this board trying to win a brand new phone for Wendy but without success. If you are able to enter comps for phones even if you don't need one and you win - I was wondering whether you would be able to donate it to Wendy?

Sorry for the begging - but I am trying every which way to try and replace this lovely lady's phone!

I enter mobile comps all the time, but so far with no success. If anything changes, you're top of my list.
