I suspect they will be getting quite a few calls. I went to a restaurant tonight - the man I spoke to on the phone had said he knew nothing about the NOTW deal but wanted to see the paper and then we could "talk about the £1 curry". The old Nepalese guy who runs the place looked very surprised when I introduced myself as the phone guy, then produced the paper and a printout of the restaurant list with his restaurant on it. I let him keep the paper and he let me have the curry. He spent the next 15 minutes reading the article and making phone calls to try and find out what this was all about. I do feel sorry for these guys - business is not good at the moment what with the recession and all, and it looks bad if they turn down people expecting an almost-free curry, but if they don't and the customer orders very little else, then they make a loss... which is fine if that's the deal they agreed to, but pretty rubbish when they know nothing about it...
