has anyone tried out the email alert on yahoo's mail. is it straightforward and does it work.

Easy, you have to download Yahoo Messenger, then you can go into Prefernces and adjust how you want it to alert you eg on the task bar or a dialogue box and with or without a an audible alert. I have the Yahoo yodel yahoooooo0
