I like the idea of a planned mini-moon just after the wedding, but then go into a travel agent after the wedding and go 'we have £x and want to travel on these dates, where can we go!!'
H2B was planning a surprise honeymoon for us to Australia, but as we have had to put the wedding back a year we've decided to still go on our honeymoon. Lol. So my honeymoon is 8 months BEFORE our wedding, ah wellGreen and White Barmy Army!0 -

You would be surprised i went to the Dominican Republic last year in August and not a single drop of rain untill the last day but in jan feb march time when i have also been i have had 4 days of non stop rain every single visit
Turkey is fab - have you considered a Gullet Cruise in turkey or Greece or one week on a boat and then a week in a hotel
the gullets are are amazing ( just ask for a cabin with a double bed though or you will have to singles ) i went with http://www.bluecruise.org/ and they were brilliant there was only around 12 people on the boat plus the crew and it was amazing and the food was to die for
you can do 3/4 day or 7/14 days and you dont go out that far to see so even though i suffer from seasickness it was fine
or even a cruise around the med /canaries0 -
I'd choose cyprus, you always have the option of going to Egypt while you're there for a day or two0

Why not Santorini? Smaller than Corfu....or Sardinia or Corsica?0

We're going to turkey. Found a 5* all inc for £1400 for two weeks for both of us, it's got it's own beach and 3 pools and 3 restaurants and it's own spa and watersports. You get alot for your money there and the rest of the budget can go on fun stuff.Bump due 22nd September0

The Letoonia hotel and resort is a fabulous resort in fethyie but i would stay in the hotel at this resort as the bugolows rooms arent that nice clean but old fashioned
