in Credit cards
I was just wondering..
I have had my first credit card now for 6 months, and this month i exceeded the limit, only by £2.89, not on a purchase but because the interest was added on.
As soon as it happened I transerred the money over to pay off the excess, I was just wondering will this now affect my credit score?
Thanks,

In the short term, no it will not affect your credit rating but you are probably going to get charged £12 for going over the limit. Paying only the excess is not enough, you should have made a bigger payment to cover forthcoming interest0 -
Thanks, phew im relieved!
I'm paying it off in full monday, when does the charge come through, will it be next months statement, its not on this months?0 -

they may not charge you, it will all depends on your T&C0 -
Even if they do charge an overlimit fee there is a good chance of getting it refunded if you ask customer services in a polite manner. Assuming this is the first time that it's happened.0

If you pay it off in full then likely as not they will increase your credit limit!0
