I didn't send the door step letter Nid as I got the two letters below(one is double sided) wich you are going to wet your pants when you see one of them lol

    Hiya

Ok as the account is on hold just wait and see what they come back with (although I already know lol).....

Regards to the other letter, are they for one minute serious? Do they think they are promoting an ice cream sale? :rotfl: :rotfl:

I'm going to have some fun with that letter, if you don't mind - will post a link here when i'm finished!! ;)

Edit: Have a look at what i've went and done!! Best Ever DCA Offer? - you gotta laugh, right? :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hi Niddy
Hamptons Legal have now sent a letter that is quite a worry about this barclaycard/Lowells account!
It says in the letter they will be requesting a copy of my credit file from Experian!! What does this mean mate?
    Looks quite heavy to me?

I'll deal with this shortly, don't worry..... :D

    Hi Nid

hope you are well, just come back from being away at Alton Towers hopes you well.

I've been dealing with Barclay card recently with the CCA Template letter stages where they came back with ref above: the long winded unecessary letter, and i is about to process (copy of letter that you done for monlou). Now its in the hands off Mercers where upon i recieved a letter. Do i send copies that i have been sending to Barclaycard with this follow up letter to Mercers instead?

    thanks

Send this to Mercers with a copy of the last letter you sent barclays, i.e. the letter I done for Monlou or whatever it was you last sent/plan on sending next: Account sold - whilst in Default of CCA Request

That tells them where you're at, you see. :D

hi guys is it wise to stop payments to credit card, before you send CCA off, or would it be better to wait until you recieve a responce from them, would it matter if you stop now? and what if it comes back to be enforceable what would options be then? lets say u try to arrange a repayment plan and they refuse, what can u do then?

Wait til you get a reply then stop, obviously if you're skint and cannot afford it then stop now - they cannot get blood from a stone :p

Don't run before you can walk ;) deal with the CCA first, when / if they reply, only then will you know what your options are.

Oi stranger - want a job? :rotfl: :rotfl:

What now - do I send a reminder (or other letter) - or Do nothing and just wait ? (for Six Years!)

What of ‘McGuffick v the Royal Bank of Scotland pic’ are they just trying their luck?

    regards A

You were told in their reply, they will get the info and get back to you - wait until they do.

What do you mean, what of McGuffick? Are you serious?

I spent like 2 hours explaining it in gross detail last night, it'd help if you did read a couple of pages back every so often and you'll find all the answers you need :o

See this: McGuffick v RBS - Case & Judgment Breakdown

Basically they will report non payment to the CRA's- which you knew about anyways.... :o
