Blimey Niddy - you have been one busy fella.!! Will just have a quick scan at them now and read them fully when I get back from work. Its much appreciated, especially since I also have a LTB account. Have a good 'night's' sleep, 'cos I am sure that you have earned it.

    Hi Nid

hope you are well, just come back from being away at Alton Towers hopes you well.

I've been dealing with Barclay card recently with the CCA Template letter stages where they came back with ref above: the long winded unecessary letter, and i is about to process (copy of letter that you done for monlou). Now its in the hands off Mercers where upon i recieved a letter. Do i send copies that i have been sending to Barclaycard with this follow up letter to Mercers instead?

    thanks

    Hiya

Ive got your email and i'll soon have a response ready for LTSB - just bear with me and keep clicking this, the template for Lloyds will be here when it is done: Template to Lloyds TSB - Upon their claim they have satisfied s.78 or in your case, it may well be this reply you need to send: Template to Lloyds TSB - Upon their final response

I'll get it sorted by tomorrow at the latest - just got a lot of templates to sort out tonight as things seem to be getting out of hand and the lenders are definitely watching this board (hello [STRIKE]w@nkers[/STRIKE] bankers :hello:)

Just bear with me and all templates will be updated asap! ;)

Edit - templates are all done - you need to see this: Template to Lloyds TSB - Upon their final response

    Hello,
Finally plucked up courage, and sent CCA letters to NatWest, Coop and M&S. Let's see what the Postie brings back.

I might be totally thick - but My CrapOne and MBNA debts were sold on to DCAs. I still can send them (the DCAs) CCA letters can't I?

My hope is to be able to offer F&Fs in a couple of months' time, thanks to an inheritance. I know that my credit file is snookered but I want to be able to draw a line and never get into debt again.

Many thanks for such helpful info on this board,:T there is so much to absorb that my head is still swimming.
    MBT.
Thanks Niddy for all you've done! :j

Overdrafts are CCA Exempt meaning you cannot do a s.78 request - you have to negotiate repayment, sorry.

Thank you, at least I know now. :)

I also wondered if perhaps because the account has been closed now for 4 years and 1 month (without payment or acknowledgement) that if I could hold out another 1 year and 11 months if it would become statute barred? Or does that also not apply to overdrafts?
I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)

As of the last count I have cleared
    [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt. :(
