Help with setting up outlook express pls

Hi
i already have windows mail on my vista lap top and was trying to set up my mail on the xp desk top i thought it was all the same and put in pop3 , imap and something else i cant remember now but deff my email address and password for aol
however i click start menue on desk top then email outlook express and i get a mesage saying some errors occured while processing the requested task the host imap could not be foundverify you have entered the server name correctly
i have obviously set up wrong can somebody help please ?

no luck ...get as far as downloading folders from imap then get mesage saying your imap server has closed the conection even although i see the box behind this mesage still seems to be downloading folders !!! weirdResolve not to be poor, Whatever you have , Spend less.0

Still having probs iam geting no prompt to make it my default, i did however get a prompt whilst on aol mail saying i need ie 8 to recieve my mail so iam downloading that at the moment to see if that helps
