If I ask the police for evidence of a parking infringement are they obliged to provide it or have I got to disprove it?

    Unless you can prove unequivocably that you did not park where they say then its best to pay up as the next place you go to is magistrates court. There's no easy get out like the cuncil tickets.
    I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

    They are obliged to provide the evidence, but only once court proceedings have been issued.
