Lidl cold frame

My local Lidl has a cold fram for £22.99 from Monday. Has anyone bought one from Lidl before? Is it ok?

I've never had one before and will just be growing a few veggies and maybe some flowers.

I got one last year and it is fine still , however I have read some reports on here from people saying they are no good ..... mine has been out in the elements all year and is still pretty much like it was when I got it apart from a bit of mud ... !

I got one of these last year and I am lucky if it lasted a month. It fell to bits. So I would leave well alone.
Aldi were selling a wooden framed one that looked good.

bought one last year and it was rubbish. fell apart in a week. it's still standing but a bit creaky.

Hmm, i was looking at these in Lidl today trying to decide if one would be useful for me once my containers go out.
Decided to ask the hubby if he could make me one as this months Grown Your Own has step by step guide how to make one,wood not a problem but the polycarbonate sheeting is quite expesive as you have to buy big sheets (well a couple of sites i looked at you did, i may be wrong) so left me wondering that the £22.99 may not be a too bad price, but reviews are so mixed? decisions!.
Can't use glass really because of the children, although would be a cheap way.
