I seem to buy more and more sp items every week:o.
    Complete dog food
    Pine toilet cleaner
    Bananas
    Sweetcorn
    Natural yoghurt
    Custard Creams
    Ginger Nuts
    Choc Chip Cookies
    Flour
    Lemonade
    Frozen peas

And there's probably more! Considering buying the sp washing powder this week!
    Is it any good?
    Less is more
  • this month we went ALL smart price - beans, sweetcorn, cat litter, kidney beans, peach slices, pineapple slices, brown sauce (MASSIVE saving), salad cream, salmon pieces (makes a wicked salmon tagetelli with Asda cream cheese with garlic and herbs AKA Philidelphia recipe)

Anyway our usual trolley load for the month (massive freezer stock and larder stock up) costs £120 and this month it was

    DRUM ROLL

Also avoid the smart price tuna, made me poop a lot.
  • The double strength no added sugar orange squash is really nice and only 22p for 750ml. :)
If I could cheat, I'd skip to the end and decide if it's worth going through with

I tried the Smartprice bleach the other day.
Pretty good flavour. I drank a 2L bottle and went blind for 3 days so at 19p I'd say that offers excellent value for money! :cheesy:

I like the salsa but not the chocolate mousse, and the yoghurts but thats due to the flavours.

nothing wrong with the cat litter either
  • Like: jaffa cakes, vitality cereal, jam, ketchup, peanut butter, fresh mince, natural yoghurt, mature cheddar, lemonade, also pine cleaner, bleach, scourers for washing up, washing powder, fabric softener, squash

Dislike: teabags, crisps, cola, and most of the ready meals, bread isnt great, potatoes vary a bit

As an aside - My dozen red roses for valentines were small, but cost £2 and lasted 16 days!
