If i were a company is there such a thing as doing a credit check on another company?
Absolutely! The company I used to work for (Aircraft parts manufacturer) always checked the credit worthiness of customers before supplying parts and monitored their payments were on time.Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorn is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that she is pink; we logically know that she is invisible because we can't see her."0 -

In fact they actually have 28 companies they can use and made it very clear that if they feel the need than they are entitled to try and get credit for you. I only found out about all the searches when i got an alert on my credit file by text message.
Arnold Clark dont care how they go about their business all they care about is getting that finance for you and a sale!!
I have a £10 monthly mobile contract and A £200 limit CC. I have never had problems getting anything until I went to them. They have ruined my life as I have been turned down for a mortgage based on the multiple searches done on me.
TO ANYONE WHO READS THIS PLEASE CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES AS I PLAN TO BUILD A SITE TO POST YOUR COMPLAINTS AND PASS THIS ON TO THE RELEVANT AUTHORITIES. THIS NEEDS TO STOP!!
Rubbish, they have saved you a fortune due to falling house prices, just think you are now not in negative equity,,send them some flowers..:cool:It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
