HSBC transaction types

I am curious to know what MAE and BP stand for with regard to HSBC transaction types. Is there a link that would explain all HSBC transaction types for me?

Thanks

MAE is Maestro ( Debit card transactions)
    BP is Bill payment

I'm not sure if there is anything on their website. You could try typing in transaction types if they have a search field.

From the HSBC Internet Banking help pages:

    What does 'type' mean?

    ATM Cash machine
    BP Bill payment
    CHQ Cheque
CIR Cirrus, Maestro or Eurocheque transaction
    CR Credit
DD Direct Debit or other BACS debit
    DIV Dividend
    DR Debit
    MAE Maestro transaction
    SO Standing order
    SOL Solo transaction
    TRF Transfer
