Went into my local M&S this morning & they had put a couple of clearance rails out, on which there were loads of "Per Una" suede knee length coats reduced from £159 to £20!!! They had quite a few on the rail but they were selling like hot cakes. Lots of other outstanding bargains, too, tops, jeans etc for next to nothing.
Might be worth hot footing it down to M&S today & having a look.

Thanks for this. Hotfooted it down to the Ayr branch but only the dregs left from their sale - one rail about 2 feet long, and no real bargains either. Twas worth a try!

Quick update.
Local Marks had Merino wool ladies crew neck jumpers in reduced from £25.00 to £3.00 ,T Shirts as cheap as 50p. Plus lots of other super clearance bargains.

The sale is starting next Thurs. They don't have loads of stock left for it which is why it was put back.

I was in my local Marks and Spencer branch on 30/08 (Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands) and while in the queue I noticed some papers by the till with the following title: Marks and Spencer Summer Sale Phase 2 - Thursday 31 August 2006, with a list of lingerie items to be reduced.

Having only seen the top page, I'm not sure whether they'll be more reductions in other departments but it might be worth having a look
