Unfortunately as you have realised they are hideous structures IMO and also can be full of condensation so watch your bikes for this
you could always ebay it and then buy a secure wooden one without windows like this http://www.gardenbuildingsdirect.co.uk/Wooden-Sheds/BillyOh-Value-8-x-6-Tongue-and-Groove-Apex
May not be much more expensive overall than the extra money you will spend trying to hide it with plastic and whatever else!
