Laundry question!

DD1's navy blue polo shirt went through the wash with a large white sticky computer label on the front. The paper layer of the label has disintergrated but I'm left with the sticky residue.
Any tips on how to remove the sticky mess. The shirt is colourfast and quite robust.
Many thanks in advance

Label adhesive usually shifts with meths or white spirit. They may affect the colour of course, but you will probably get away with it.

Thanks DVardy. Put the shirt in the freezwer and forgot about it for a couple of days!!! Managed to pick it all off.
I didn't want to use a solvent unless it was as a last resort - the smell makes me queasy!!(What a wimp!)
    Anyway - thanks. Freezing worked!
