halifax ultimate reward phone insurance

ive got a joint ultimate reward account, now my wife has washed her phone in the washing machine.
would we be covered as i did register the phone with them

is there any excess.

I've claimed for a new phone using my URCA not last year the year before. I was ona ride in Alton Towers and it got soaked and wouldn't work. I waited a week - to see if it dried out - but it didn't. They replaced the phone no problems.
I've never had any problems with my URCA, I've claimed on the travel insurance part, the home emergency part when my boiler packed in and called out RAC more times than I like to admit.
I did work for Halifax at one point though, but I don't think that makes a difference.
I'd definitely call and ask.

If its a joint account are you allowed 2 claims each per year (i.e 4) or 2 intotal one for each account holder?
