O2 Home Phone....worth it?

I'm just about to come to the end of my BT unlimited evening and weekend 12 month contract.
If O2 can get setup in time I'm keen to look into their new home phone as I've already got an O2 mobile and O2 standard broadband (latter £7.50 per month).
I notice that O2 are offering 2 options - one evening and weekend at £9.50 per month (including BT line rental but not caller display - which I need) and anytime at £12.50 per month. I'd probably go with the latter since my wife is at home some of the week and tends to use the phone.
Any idea whether this is worth looking at (how much is BT line rental and unlimited evening / weekend)? Also noticed that Post Office are offering a deal on calls at the moment.

wonder when its coming0 -
It's coming in March, though no precise date yet.
You must take 02 broadband with it (or already have it), it's not available on a line rental and calls basis only.
BT line rental is £11,54, Anytime £4.99. O2 will be £9.50 and £3.00 respectively.
So cheapest O2 bundle (line rental/calls/broadband) will cost £17.50 with Anytime, £14.50 with E&W calls. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

There had been some details available at the o2 blog when they announced it in January. Whether the details there will be what they choose at launch is anyone's guess.

So you have to have broadband with them too then.0

o2 will also charge for called display and 1571 ."Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0

O2 Home Phone....worth it?
Sadly, not for me.
I just moved to their 12 month Simplicty: 300mins / unlimted landline = £10PM and my ADSL is free.
I love O2's services and service but their home phone is vanilla flavoured I'm afraid and a bit of an abortion of an idea IMO. After all the years of hints we get nothing new.
If they did something special (like free caller ID) I'd go for it. Hopefully they'll be coming out with something interesting.
That 12 month Simplicty deal: http://shop.o2.co.uk/simplicity-12 Mind £50 QuidCo too.0 -
When I spoke to o2 a couple of weeks ago they said it was just a small trial in March 2010 and they would launch o2 home phone fully later on.0

If that's the case they've certainly not publicised it that way. All the initial promo said that the service would be available from sometime in March. No mention of trial areas etc.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
