I just bought a couple of new single beds and the mattresses are deeper than the old ones. I bought new mattress protectors from Silentnight and they're for deep mattresses. Dunelm Mill are good value too - as already said, they do sheets for deep mattresses.0

Most retailers will sell fitted sheets for deeper mattresses. You just have to make sure you buy the right ones.0

Fitted sheets ought to be labelled and sold with the depth - but it's not always obvious.
As an example these are 32 cm deep, whilst these are 28 cm deep.
When you shop, check the label or ask the store staff how deep they are. Oh, and measure your mattress so you know what you need.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac

You will usually find that most standard sheets will be for a maximum depth of 8 or 9 inches. Those for deeper mattresses would normally be marked up in dome way.0
