Hi
I have a small end terrace house which needs the windows and doors replacing
the window sizes are 4@ 118 wide x 132 high and 3 @60 wide 132 high
the doors are Front Door 91 wide x 215 high and back door 89 wide x 215 high we would be looking at upvc in a dark brown colour
has anybody had double glazing recently in these sizes just need a rough idea how much this is likely to cost
any ideas would be helpful

If you go to doubleglazingontheweb.co.uk (if I'm allowed to post that), you can see prices of windows there, it's really useful for working out how much it would cost.0

Just bear in mind that you get what you pay for. Cheap most definitely does not mean best value for money, there are a lot of sharks out there and so you are much better going for a company with a reputation to protect, even if they're the more expensive.
My grandmother had a "good local firm" install a window in her house which gave her nothing but trouble. Then she had Everest and she has never had trouble since and this was over 20 years ago. Yes they were twice the price but you do save money in the long run.[strike]-£20,000[/strike] 0!0 -
as a rough guide DG should cost about 400 quid per unit.
everest will try and charge you 1000/2000 per unit.
keep away from everest et al. use a local company.Get some gorm.0 -
have a look round localy and ask your
neighbours who they used. When we needed
ours doing we just asked around most
had used a local firm.We got them round for a quote

a lot of money and the quality is first rate.:j:j:j0
