if you phone them and thats the wrong number, ask them to put you through to dial up customer services.

i could do that but they'll charge me 50p for the privilege. they've got an 'in ' number known to a few people that isn't premium rate, or at least they did up until a month back.

i realised what id written but i couldnt word it any other way!;-)

pumpa what are you talking about.. the one i gave you is an 0800 number and if they put you through its not likely to charge you (i think???) because your not dialing a new number.

Just try the 0800 number, and if they go to put you through, ask them if it will cost you anything, and if it will, hang up.

will you stop getting cross with me!!!!!!!!

the way virgin used to work was they would NOT put you through, they would make you dial the premium rate number. Someone on here gave me the local rate number before ntl took them over. the local rate number no longer works. yeah i can phone the server number but it would just be nice to know IF there is still the local rate number to save time and get straight through.

now, calm down, i gave you a thanks, lets not argue.
