is the software to run the dongle hasnt been installed, then you will need administrator rights on your account to be able to install them. Is your mums account still active? If so does she listed as an administrator?
If not you may need to boot up in safe mode (usually press F8 on startup screen when the first lines of text start to appear) and see if an Administrator account pops up which you can useDon't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig0

Basically you need to be an Administrator to install the 3 software.
In order to become an Administrator, an existing Admin needs to promote your account to "Computer Administrator" via the Users option in Control Panel.
You're mum probably has these priviliges therefore, she/you will need to log in as her and promote your account to an admin.
If not, there are ways to get around it.0
