should i claim

Ive been reading this site with interest and wondered if it would be worthwhile trying to claim. Over the past 10 years Ive had a number of loans and can honestly say, especially with LLodys, that I have never been asked if I had any medical condition that would stop me from claiming (had depression in the past). Plus as I get full sick pay for 12 months from work I wasnt advised that I didnt need the insurance cos they wouldnt pay if I was off sick and also I wasnt informed that I could take out insurance elsewhere.

They just lumped the insurance on top of my loan and I just paid. Would you say I had a chance to claim back the insurance Ive paid over the loans.

thanks
michelle

Hi, If you have all the account numbers for the loans then you just write a letter with your reasons above (most insurance only pays out for 12 months anyway so most probably would not be of use) and then give them 8 weeks for a full and final response. Send the letter by recorded delivery and if you need a guide there is one here

    Good luck
