I'm all for competition, but what choice will there be when Tesco have destroyed all their competitors and closed down your local high street?

Competition is what moves any industry forward. If Tesco gave rubbish service, and shoddy products, then people would not shop there. There are other supermarkets very keen to jump into Tesco's shoes!
In my opinion, they are challenging the way people buy glasses by offering good service, good quality eyewear at a very affordable price.
The highstreet has been dominated by Specsavers for too long, and to set the record straight, it was them who drove the knife into the independant optician. Tesco are challenging the might of Specsavers to offer an alternative.
