Me too... at most places as it is paid for NHS for certain qualified people based on either their condition or their income/support.
Not for all as in ALL. Misleading.
So what is unusual this time?.. or is it a marketing stunt? Sorry if i miss the point. Please clarify.0 -
...So what is unusual this time?..
It is free for all, as in ALL

Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
I went down to book an eye test and was told "they can't see me!!!" LOL
I made a spectacle of myself !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
I went for my free eye test, and they are offering them to anyone no matter what your NHS status, And was very glad i did as not only do i now have a copy of my perscription also the optician noticed some "pigment" at the back of my eye and refered me to my doctor to check up on it. A gret reminder that even if you dont wear glasses you should take advantage of this offer if you havent had your eyes checked in a while. There could be all sorts of things going on back there.
Good to have a free specialist looking after your health :-)0 -
*Great, sorry its too early for my spelling brain :-)0

do you have to buy glasses there or can you shop around for your glasses?0
-
Of course ALL eye tests are free in Scotland, no matter where you go for the test0
-
Went there months ago for contact lenses test and it was free as well. I think it is I only free as they were so pushy and making me think I needed new glasses even though I had only just got them. Trying to get your prescription to take it elsewhere seemed an impossibility...In control of finances :beer:0
