has anyone used any of these products

we got a 09 car on wednesday and refused the supaguard offered by the salesman ;) but decided to see if we could see anything on the market to do ourselves - we were thinking of the upholstery spray and then a toughseal spray for the paintwork but just wondered if anyone had tried it - many thanks

  • Just wash and wax it, and it'll be fine for months.
  • what about the upholstery - last car ended up with stained seats - kids in back eating and drinking! although this car has darker seats but wondered whether this stuff you can spray on does actually protect the seats ?

Stop them eating and drinking in the car.;)

You can have the car seats scotchguarded via an upholster, which will deter stains.

The only thing with scotch gaurding the seats is the texture might change if not done properly. The fabric becomes corse rather than smooth and soft. Worth getting it done properly and not from an aerosol can

If it is metalic paint, it will be laquer coated anyway and shouldn't need a further coating
I used to be me !! what happened

Indeed, I did suggest an upholsterer.;)
