Hi All
Dont know if anyone can help but didnt know where else to post.
I have two cats but unfortunately need to let both of them go as we're moving into a place that doesnt accept them.
Where is best to advertise them so to speak? I have already put them on gumtree and advertised on netmums too but not sure where else to go? And how do I make sure theyre going somewhere where theyre going to be loved? I guess its personal judgement.
Thanks

Two excellent forums are www.catchat.org/forum.html and www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk .
There are no guarantees I'm afraid but any prospective owner should be happy for you to do a homecheck.
Have you tried any of the rescues in your area?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
do you really have no friends or family who can take them on- that is the only way to be really sure about who they do go to.......:silenced:They Were Up In Arms wrote: »I think tabskitten is a crying, walking, sleeping, talking, living troll :cool:0

Is there no chance you can move somewhere that does accept your cats? Many landlords will if asked or offered a higher damage deposit. Please don't put your cats on the free-ads, apparently there are people who use cats as bait for fighting. Please contact all the local rescues and ask to be added to their waiting list, if you have a date where they musty be homed by please let the resuce know. Agree with Chez Purrsinourhearts and Cat Chat are safe bets.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

Your vet will probably have a noticeboard where you can put an advert, or may even know someone who's recently lost a cat and is looking to find another. Older people in particular will sometimes want an adult cat or cats rather than go through the hard work of raising a kitten.0

Try asking in your local veterinary practices; they may know someone who is looking for a cat. Hope you find them a good home.0

Have you specifically asked the landlord whether they will accept cats. Many LL's say no pets but when asked about cats don't mind as much, I have an agreement with my LL that when I leave I will have all of the carpets professionally cleaned due to my cats and they were quite happy with this.:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0
