Parking at Liverpool Airport

Am thinking of pre-booking parking at Liverpool airport, using APH in long term car park. When I read the T&C's it talks about when you drop keys off and when you pick them up on return. Anyone know if you do have to hand your keys over or is there an alternative car park. Just not too happy about handing over the keys of my brand new car to a complete stranger.

I’ve left my keys with car parks on a few occasions at Manchester airport and initially I was wary about doing it but I have never had any problems. Also It means I haven’t got the worry of looking after my car keys whilst on holiday and loosing or getting them stolen.

Hate to scaremonger but OH left her car with a site near Manchester airport and returned to find around half a tank MORE petrol than she left. She could be mistaken but take a note of your odometer (Is that the right word?) before you go.
