What do you think when credit card companies automatically increase your card limit? Is it a welcome surprise or a recipe for disaster?

A. Hoorah! More credit for playing the system
B. Noooo! I don't need to be tempted to spend more than I have
C. Good but Grrrr! I’m usually grateful but wish they’d ask me first
D. Who knows! Never happened to me
E. Yawn! It doesn't change my habits

I dont like it when they up your limit for no reason.

Surely if your card was stolen it gives the thief more spending power? They could make off with loads more money before anyone even noticed...

I just pop in now and then.... :)
