help please - change to flight routing

Hi, I booked tickets to New Zealand last december with lastminute.com. Today I phoned airnewzealand to confirm the flights as we fly out on Sunday but they have changed their flight routing. My tickets state we travel via Christchurch but now all flights go via Auckland. My problem is that the airline told me I needed to get in touch with the travel agent as the tickets need to be changed but it seems very hard to contact lastminute.com. I have filled in a form online and I can't seem to find any other way to contact them. Has anyone else had this problem? Will the airline just be able to change or amend the tickets at heathrow as it's out of our control that they have decided to change the route of the flight. I don't mind going to check in earlier if it can be done there but am worried that we could have problems getting the flight. Can anyone offer me any help with this?
