Hello,
I'm desparate to book accomodation in Flushing, NY (Near Shea Stadium, preferably within reasonable walking distance) in late September.
Can anyone recommend anything decent, but reasonably priced?
Thanks for looking.

You should stay at the Ramada Plaza hotel which is within walking distance of the stadium, in fact you can see the stadium from the hotel. Also, if you land at La Guardia airport then you can use the phone situated in the arrivals area and request the hotel shuttle bus to collect you. This is free of charge. I suggest you look on Expedia.com and be sure that the hotel is the Ramada at La Guardia as there are one or two more Ramada's in New York.
"This LaGuardia Airport hotel is directly across from Shea Stadium and within two blocks of the Number 7 train to Manhattan."0 -
Thanks for that Steve_xx.
However the six night stay I was looking for comes to £1300 !!
A little out of my league I'm afraid.0 -
Keep checking on Expedia.com, Lastminute.com & Opodo. I booked with Expedia when we stayed at the Ramada. I booked and then the day after noticed that the price had dropped substantially, so I cancelled and rebooked. I think I paid circa £80 per night in the end which I didn't think was too bad when I compared prices with hotels in Manhattan.0

Will do. If I can get it for £80 a night, I'll be well pleased.0
