How do I keep killing my plants?!

I have no luck with plants...

I have now apparently drowned my newest little pink flowers (I've got no idea what they are) and would like some advice on how I can maybe save them or look after new ones better?

    Well i'm no Monty Don or Percy Thrower but drowning suggests too much water...

    Less water for a start, follow seed packet instructions carefully. Not sure if you can rescue drowned seedlings but try to get rid of the excess water to see what happens.
