I haven't had a cheque book for about 5 years. I never use them. If anyone ever says they need me to send a cheque by post, I just say I can't. It's amazing, they usually suddenly find another way to accept my payment.

I barely remember the Chinese in Manchester, which is odd as I don't think I was very drunk at all.

Bookie, You must treat yourself!!! Can you get a set meal for 1? I find that i can make it go for 3 meals!! The local takeaway for me does 2 sorts of set meals for one both about £7.

    I got a bargain in M&S - set of 3 clip-it boxes on bogof - so 6 boxes cost £4.88!!!

Bookie once you get used to not using cheques I found it much easier....I was gutted when the supermarkets and petrol stations stopped taking them as I found it easy to manage my money that way, I have got used to it....

I have an A&L premier account and have my mortgage with them. However I owe on the credit card and wondered whether it would be better to move my money from them.
The cc debt has gone to experion now though.
I do like A&L to be honest but just wodered what to do. (confused smilie)
  • What are you talking about Sammy! You dont remember anything about the chinese in Machester! LOL!
Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale
  • Plus I was thinking of claiming back bank charges from A&L under hardship thingey but then they might kick me out and I'd rather be prepared.
    (very, very confused smilie.)
