Sky HD and remote eye query.....

I have had Sky + working for some time with a infared eye in another room which allowed us to control the sky+ machine.

Since having HD fitted, we cannot even get a picture in the other room let alone control it from there, the cable is plugged into the back of the HD machine as it was in the Sky+ machine before it.

Any ideas???

Have you made sure the outlet for the cable is switched on??. You have to do this with standard boxes so I assume its the same with the HD ones. It was done using the service menu.

SETTING UP THE EYE

RUN A CABLE FROM RF2 OUTPUT ON YOUR SKY RECEIVER TO THE SECOND TV WHERE YOU ARE GOING TO USE THE EYE FROM.CONNECT THE CABLE TO THE EYE AND CONNECT A SHORT CABLE FROM THE EYE TO YOUR TV.



PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW;

select services on your remote

choose option 4

then press number 01 then select

now choose rf out option

make sure rf2 is on position

then save.

Thanks for that, unfortunately the only options I have are to change RF1 & 2 between 16.9 4.3 and 4.3L none of which makes any difference.
