Hi guys im not very techie so may be asking a stupid question, I have socured the wireless sticky buyt to no avail so was wondering if someone could help.
I recently changed my old freeserve/wanadoo package to an orange one. today i recieved my livebox and after a while have at last managed to set up my wireless connection.
What i wanted to know was how i check the speed of said connection as previously id right click on the modem in the system tray and it would say. Now in the system tray there is just the LAN connection which guives the netowrk speed but not internet speed. How can i find this out?
Thanks in advance peeps

apologies for the !!!!ty look but the http://.... should workIn the United Kingdom 200,000 people are bitten by dogs every year and some people will die as a result. Of those bitten, 70% are children... So the question has to be asked....... Has the time come to ban children?0 -

nah I think the other guys gave better responses, they actually recommended tests that theyve used. Anyone could have pasted in a google link though.
I use the adslguide one, its worth pointing out that these tests arent always 'real world' i often see people getting really hung up over poor speed results even though their day to day use of the web is fine. They kinda come in helpful if you are having probs and want to build a case before approaching ya ISP.Debt: a bloomin big mortgage
