mcdonalds-support@razorfish.com was the address I was given by the claims line. But I did not get a reply from that address, I got one by phone after contacting the claim line on the number given with the error message, and also from filling in a general contact us (or similar named) form linked to from the main site.

The current Monopoly competition includes an "Instant Win" option with entry of the codes on the stickers.

I had about 10 of these to enter today, and was going through them all with the predictable "We're sorry, you have not won this time..." error message.

Then, noticeably, one code took a loooong time to process and instead I was presented with a message that said something similar to "There has been an error whilst processing your claim" and to call an 0844 number. I tried to enter the code again and was shown the message "Sorry, this code has already been used in this promotion".

I called this number and explained what had happened, but the operator seemed to be quite confused about what to do. She took all the information from me including my name and address and the code number on the ticket then went away for a few minutes and returned to advise me that there was "a glitch in the system that they're trying to fix" and to "just keep on entering the code".

I explained that the system was telling me that the code was no longer valid, but she insisted that was what I had to do.

According to the terms & conditions regarding how this "competition" is governed, the winning ticket codes are NOT pre-determined, and success is based on submitting a valid code at precisely the right time, which is selected by some random algorithm by the McDonald's system. Therefore, people can be unknowingly banging in codes in the hour AFTER the moment has passed with no possibility of them winning. Is this fair?

Furthermore, if the entry of my code prompted a pause and then a "special" error message, does this not suggest that it met different criteria than the others and was, in fact, a winning ticket? Of course, now the "special moment" has passed and McDonald's have failed to process the claim properly how can it ever be a "winning ticket"?

Anyone else had similar experiences?

That happened to me too, sadly I couldn't be mithered chasing it up and so just threw it away :o.

After a very hungover weekend which has involved numerous trips to mcdonalds for me and friends i now have in my possession

sausage and egg mcmuffin
32 off ay Play
20% off buyagift.com
Fruit bag
£5 off at firefox
sugar donut
mc flurry
sundae

Plus a few of the not so rare tickets.

And have also gained 7lbs...:rotfl:

Just entered a code online and got ' Sorry, an error has occurred while processing your claim
Please contact the Monopoly customer services team on 0844 991 6472.'

Their office is closed.. arrrgghh! Do you think it's worth following up tomorrow?

On another note, I was quite shocked by how desperate someone was today for the stickers, even the McDonalds staff were annoyed by him! He sat alone at a table for 4, invited people over, pretended he was messing around on his phone, creeped them out a bit and when they left, pocketted their stickers! We watched him do this three times.

I love comping, but hope I never get that bad!
