In three sittings we've won 3 fruit bags, 3 hot drinks, an apple pie, a porridge and a sundae.

Also entered all the codes of about 30 stickers - we all had large meals so we would get more stickers, but no winning ticket!! there's a surprise!

had the problem message too but was away and was using my phone, came home and tried code again to be told it was alreay used, i know exactly which one it is as I had won a mcflurry with it so am going to call them today and ask why it is happening and also going to ask how many £1000's they have given away to date, and also what the winning message says, may also contact isp to question whether the 'winning moment' is actually allowed, as said above people can be entering after with no chance of winning and this does not seem fair to me, mcdonalds have been very clever/sly on the hourly competition

Interesting the error is also happening by text :think:

I asked whether they had had any winners yet in my e-mail to them.

The guy on the phone said an answer about the errorwould probably be quicker by e-mail so to make sure I sent one but said I would get a reply by phone too.
As yet no reply by either but it was only Monday afternoon I rang.

I'm fairly sure the instant win thing is OK. It's the same as McVities Bonkers/Dunk or the Carling cup final one (and loads more)....you can/could enter them after everythings gone, it's luck of the draw and all part of the game.

Mmmm dodgy this cause I just entered codes & 1 it said error so I tried the code again & it said sorry you haven't won rather than the this code has already been used that other people had had

ive entered sooooooooo many now and nothing at all i wonder how many people are actully entering i know chances are slim to win on it as its huge

Had a call today. The error messages are due to high number of entries apparrantly and the problem has been fixed. We will see.....
Oh, and I didn't win, it logged the entry as a loser even though it was so busy it faulted. Wasn't exactly suprised when she told me that. No response to whether there have been any £1k winners yet.
Good luck everyone. One more McDs and I'm out I think.

EDIT: got an e-mail saying the error is because they had a power cut. So confused which is correct now...and less sure they actually know!

i just tried to enter codes after my first attend few days ago but still getting an error message so it doesn't look as its fixed yet...:(
