Thats a lot, I got a quick quote today from a plumber for a valiance and it was £1700 with no rad this including magnaclean

You can get it much cheaper than BG
  • Sounds a bit pricey to me
We had new boiler (mulipoint hot water 85000 Btu), new feed pipe - like you, plus similar additional items remove old boiler etc - plus complete removal of old hot water cylinder and piping (oK plumber obiously got scrap value on copper !!) for £2300. Independant but trusted and recommended plumber.
I would not use British Gas or equivalent

    Duncan
  • Cost of boiler around £800.00
Allow generous £1000 for remainder excl Home Care 200

Very expensive. Get quotes from independent heating engineers/installers.

I priced up a expensive Valiance and it was just over a grand for one of best models for a combi system, you can get cheaper models for around £800 plus obviously fitted, rads, magnaclean, piping and labour
