Hi,
Anyone know of any way to find a good local solicitor? I've asked around a bit but also want to see if theres any online reviews or anything on them!
Any sites or personal recommedations would be good. I'm looking for one based in Brighton & Hove.
Thanks!

ask some agents in the town...many will refer out of the county for big referral fees so ignore them.
no website that is good enough, usually people rant more than they praise.
do your own calling around, armed with a checklist:
- make sure you get someone senior
- will you get just the same person throughout-you hope
- direct dial and email
- no completion no fee
- avoid being fobbed off to a website for updates, you should be informed by the lawyer
- check for hidden charges, like acting for a lender or filling in a stamp duty form so compare quotes
- d0 they sound nice, and reasonably intelligentMy posts are just my opinions and are not offered as legal advice - though I consider them darn fine opinions none the less.:cool2:
My bad spelling...well I rush type these opinions on my own time, so sorry, but they are free.:o0
