Hi, I have used Lidl sewing machines before they are good. and I also purchase the recent one. I do lot of sewing but I use them for different craft projects. I recently bought this one Janome Sewist 525s) as well, and is exactly the same as the Lidl sewing machine with less stitches. the difference is that the Lidl sewing machine is a front bobbin. and the Janome is a drop bobbin. (janome-sewist-525s)
you are saving a lot of money also the Lidl sewing machine come anti-glare light.

I have just bought the SilverCrest sewing machine in Lidl for £49.99.
Saw it, thought about it, took a photo of the details, and came home to think about a bit more. Did a bit of internet research as you do, found only one bad report, so went back and bought it.
I'm carefully saving the receipt, just in case I have to claim on the three year guarantee.
Too tired to play with it tonight, but hoping for great things!
