Glad you have some good ideas! Pics when done :D

The point is, I have too many ideas:rotfl: How am I supposed to decide :p

The only one I don't like is the soup - although if I helps me with my March grocery challenge, I'll consider it.

Tie a loop in the corner of each, fit your arms with close fitting bracelets ...then Dance of the Seven Veils and we'll understand why you don't come back to the forum for a week or two ;)

What about using them to make shopping bags, if you lined them(with cotton from an old sheet for eg. very os!) it would give them the strength needed to carry shopping....I am itching to make some myself after having that idea lol!
Must get more use out of my sewing machine!

  • Well, this one kept me awake last night pondering....., I am on a campaign to use up and make good use of what I've got and had never given a thought to the large box of scarves I have.

My idea would be to make little bags, like minature shopping bags, and use these as gift bags, making a card to match by backing a small section of the scarf with wadding and mounting in an aperture card. I have seen this sort of thing for sale in an arty crafty shop at an exorbitant price, so maybe there's even money to be made from old scarves.

The gift could even be a mini herb pillow made from the same scarf. Can't wait to start but my list of 'use it ups' is growing quicker than I can work.

    Bella.

I love this idea: I've got some fabric just begging to become parcel wrapping! so beautiful!

(shan't waste it on MiL's motherday pressie though: she'd just say 'oh, did you forget to buy paper?' :rotfl:)
