Hi guys,
I'm looking for some input, I need to be in Delhi on the 21st August but am wanting the cheapest reasonable option, I only need a one way ticket as I will not know my return date until I'm out there. I'm based in Liverpool, but do not mind travelling by train to an airport to secure the best price, any recomendations, best price I have is in the region of 300 flying from birmingham.
Cheers
Paul

I doubt you will be able to enter the country on a one way unless you have an Indian passport or something like a student visa. £300 sounds very, very reasonable for a ticket in August (even a one way) so I'd probably grab it while you can. You may get something cheaper and more direct from London but booking in July for August (peak season) the availability is going to be an issue. Is it a charter flight you have found? And if, you know, your history...0

Birmingham or Heathrow are the normal airports and cheapest.
Try Virgin, BA, Monarch, Air India.0 -
No, it's not a charter flight, just the usual scheduled ones using travel supermarkets search engine.
That's what I thought in relation to the airports, not sure if flying from manchester would be worth the extra cost, to save travelling to London, or Brimingham.
The other problem I have is that I am travelling overe there to do an IT certfification, but I may need to resit some of the exams if I fail any of them, the tempting thing to do is to just add on, say five days to the scheduled end of the course but I may find that I want longer over there or wnat to come home sooner, hence the one way requirement, is it possible to find a cheap return AND have the flexibility of the return date?
Cheers for your help guys!0 -
most airlines do 6 month returns some even a year some 3 months check terms and conditions. most you can change the date anyway but its better to get a return and its sometimes cheaper. i've spent over 6 months travelling around india and is one of the most fascinationg countries to visit which i would recommend u do0
