After 8 months, we've finally exchanged!

Phew! Its been a long time coming!

We've booked removal company, rang BT, Sky and sorted Royal Mail redirection so far, is there anything else that need to be done straight away?

Thanks

    Well done :)
  • I've exchanged today with completion tomorrow. Won't be moving in there until Tuesday as got no bed, no fridge/freezer etc.

For those who never heard of me or what is my situation. I am moving from my parents to a 50/50 new build flat 4 miles away - 12 mins walk to work. Had problems with the searches as someone did a search on the property that will have my plot number as the house number!

Other companies to contact - banks, mobile phone networks (if on contracts), Tesco and Nectar (if you have their cards). Council - for boo! Council Tax - even if you are moving within the same council boundary.
