barclays !!! thanks for 30 years loyalty

just having a moan realy my hubby has had an account with barclays for over thirty years (joint with me for 11) and been a good customer untill recently when weve fallen on hard times and entered a dmp they have refused to agree to our payment and passed us on to a dca thanks barclays for not even giving us a chance when weve given you our money for all them years !!!

I do feel for the OP.

It is like this from my cognitive view:

The client makes sure their account is in order and likes to build savings with the same bank. They feel the need to please the bank/help the bank by raising savinmgs with them. Friendship sorta thing but not real friendship if u can understand.

Then the bank phucks you lol It just proves banks are relentlessly business driven. Yes it is a business at the end of a day but a bit of slack wouldn't hurt for loyal long time customers. (10 years or more)

-presumably you are on a DMP with a not for profit company (CCCS, Payplan, CAB etc and not one that charges

-also open a bank a/c with another bank with whom you have no debts

-post up on the debt free wanabee board.. lots of support and help there.
