Are you really an authourised IFA? Or have you got someone else's footnote tagged on to you as well.

I appear to be an advocate of satellite on your computer for some unknown reason and have lost over 100 posts so I am rather confused!

Just came back from the shops, I desperately needed some jumpers and bought 3 M & S jumpers in the same charity shop for £5 each. Not particularly cheap but jumpers are expensive and I am plus size which narrows down your choice a bit.

There is no need to apologise as I am sure we have all enjoyed reading a new slant on this.

I get a real kick out of buying a book from a charity shop by a favourite author for 30 pence then passing it around family and friends when it is then given to a different charity 8o miles away.

Everyone benefits and on the occasssion I buy a book and do not want to keeo it then I donate it to my local library so again I feel the cost has been justified.

I have a real problem with charity shops - I'm addicted to them! Have got many bargains over the years, a new bedding set for £1, 2 huge pale blue matching throws £5, many sets of curtains from £1 to £5 for lined ones. lots of books (never have to worry about library fines that way) and have kitted out both kids with various kitchen equipment during their student years!

The annoying thing is when you see something really nice and its not your size! Found a lovely shirt under a tanktop type of thing, looked brand new, a size too big. Saw a fantastic pink jumper, far too small. Hardly any of the shops had size 22, but the shop I bought from had a rack with just large sizes on. One of the shops was having an everything at half price day and another all clothes were reduced, paperbacks 50p and hardbacks a £1. Might fit another one in before I collect the kids from school.

I like table top sales too 160, unfortunately you get dealers at them and you cant get near the stuff. I love taking my kids and letting them chose a toy, so much better than walking round Toyrs R US!

i come in somewhere between size 8-10 so, i never normally have much luck clothes-wise.

they tend to be great for accessories and costume jewellery though -the bits that would normally cost a bomb on the high street in places like accessorize

Catznine, you can change your signature by going to User CP above and on the left colum it will say edit signature. Just delete what is there or put in what you want. A lot of people have dodgy sigs lol
