OH's old cat (not sure if it's dead but it dissapeared at 18 never to be saw again :() was a fabulous hunter.

One time she killed a rabbit (and this cat was TINY) and brought it home, only for all the baby bunnies to follow their mother

The dog, seeing the baby bunnies, decided the best place for them was in it's basket, carried them all to it's basket and proceeded to groom them :rotfl:

They phoned up SSPCA or something to take the bunnies rather than abandoning them to die.

I thought it was sweet his dog did that (It was a stray they brought back from Egypt, who had 1 litter, and most of them died from poison, but 1 survived who they also took here) because when it saw sheep, the pair of them would start foaming and salivating, and they live near a lot of farms, and the amount of times they jumped out of the SECOND FLOOR of the house to get to a sheep is beyond counting (and their house is a manor house, so V high!) Amazing they didn't break their legs tbh!! (the windows were soon closed when they figured out how the dogs were getting out)

The dog (mishmish) also used to pinch the baby chicks from the chickens, and slobber all over them too, did it with the cats kittens too, and the cat scarred the dogs face she hooked him so much for doing it :rotfl:

You are not alone! I was chasing a mouse round my living room last night. I did not even know it was there til it scarpered across the carpet and under the TV stand....

I also get full-grown rabbits (graduated from live baby ones), rats, squirrels and the usual voles, mice etc. But my cat is a beast- he weighs a stone! The other is a delicate lady, but she is just as bad!

i am so glad i am not alone!! My 2 year old cat has brought 4 rats to me in as many days- 2 of them today!! I try my hardest to keep her in at night but its not always easy- she is a stubborn little cow and sometimes will not come when she is called.

I dont know of any ways to stop her doing it- i cant put a cat flap in as its a rented property. She uses the kitchen window. Its waste land behind me so i think maybe she's getting them from there. She certainly seems to know where they are nesting!
