Does heat or cold have any effect on telephone lines?
Something to do with attenuation or something like it.
I remember a BT engineer telling me something about this at some stage.
My broadband seems to be grindingly slow at the moment.
More likely something to do with F2S, but I'm curious anyway.

the grindigly slow is more likely to be to do with more users.
I suppose it is possible for temperature to affect speed since the phone lines are made of copper in most places... BUT there insulated and fairly deep underground... so its not really likely.0 -
